AI tools are no longer only accessible through complex models or on web portals. We are seeing a quick proliferation of very useful solutions appearing in our everyday software. A great example is the fantastic tools that are appearing in DaVinci Resolve, our editing and post-production tool of choice. These tools are powered by the Neural Engine, an advanced machine learning system developed by Blackmagic Design.
This software is still specialized and wouldn't necessarily be used outside of video and animation studios or content creator workflows. However, with powerful AI enabled tools such as being able to quickly and effectively slow down any video, relighting content for different times of day or simply stripping the voice from an audio track, we're able to require less from clients while giving back much more.

What if a client provides us with low res content? No problem, we can now upscale it directly and impressively in-house. The brief requires a small documentary based on a voice track embedded in a noisy room? No problem, we can strip that and start work immediately.

This is an excellent example of AI tools that are being created with the end user in mind, allowing us to do our jobs better and serve our clients faster and more effectively.
