Tool Focus: Kling AI to animate images

In this series so far, we've focused on image generation and editing tools. These tools are powerful in their own right but it's no secret that the world of content creation has shifted dramatically towards video. This fact alone has made consistent posting challenging for brands and creators.

Luckily, AI video has come a long way and can now help small studios and big brands augment their content offerings. For this, our go to tool has been Kling AI. While it's true that it still struggles with quick or complex camera movement and some subjectivity, it really shines with short and simple animations to boost static content.

It's especially good at creating quick effects that are still challenging in traditional 3D workflows. Adding snow, ocean waves and realistic fog have been a favourite for us to explore in the studio.

3D renders vs Kling animations

AI video still has a long way to go before it can be used confidently in high end productions but should be seriously considered as a tool for quick and fun animations. It goes without saying that the process still requires patience, a high level of critical thinking skills and a decent knowledge of post production and editing tools to achieve a good result that doesn't look like AI slop.
